Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) are domain names represented in local language characters. Such domain names could contain letters or characters from non-ASCII scripts. In India, the INRegistry is also responsible for registering IDN in Indian Languages.

In case of NEFT, kindly mention domain name and UTR No. in NEFT deposit slip/receipt. Domain User has to upload this slip/receipt which should be duly signed and stamp by Bank/your Institute while filling online registration/renewal form through this website

Domain Registration For Educational Research Institution Including Schools, Colleges and Universities

 

1. Check availability for the desired domain name

 

 

2. Review the Domain naming conventions/Guidelines and ensure that the desired domain name complies with the conventions

5. Domain Registration/renewal charges (inclusive of Service Tax)  :

Rs. 1180/- for 2 years
Rs. 2596/- for 5 years
Rs. 5074/- for 10 years ( Only for new registration of Domain )
Rs. 4956/- for 9 years ( Only for renewal of Domain )

In case of NEFT, kindly mention domain name and UTR No. in NEFT deposit slip/receipt. Domain User has to upload this slip/receipt which should be duly signed and stamp by Bank/your Institute while filling online registration/renewal form through this website

 

 

 

6. The domain Registration/Renewal charges have to be paid separately for each domain, through Online Payment or Bank Deposit. Combined payment for Registration/Renewal of two or more domains will not be accepted.

 

 

 

7. Auto reminders for renewal of domain will be sent on admin and technical email-id (filled in online registration form) of the domain user 60 days, 45 days, 30 days, 15, and 5 days prior to expiry of domain name.

 

 

 

8. In case Domain is not renewed before the date of expiry, domain will be deactivated after 10 days of the expiry date and an amount of
Rs.1180/-(18 % GST Included) will be charged for reactivation/restoration along with renewal charges.

 

 

 

9. E-Receipt against payment of domain registration/renewal will be sent to admin email of domain registrar after confirmation of payment and registration/renewal of domain.
